Large Art Gallery

The Large Art Gallery displays a selection from our collection of artworks including several by nationally important artists who studied at Warrington School of Art such as Luke Fildes and Henry Woods who went on to become leading figures of the Neo-Venetian school. Also on display are a selection of sculptures by leading local sculptor John “Warrington” Wood.

The museum also displays a rotating selection of artworks by internationally renowned artists such as Jan Van Os, Sir Frank Brangwyn and L.S. Lowry who are all featured in the collection and are frequently on display alongside a changing exhibition of contemporary art.
