The Great War Records were damaged during World War Two so incomplete. With just the bare minimum of information I have tried to identify these soldiers. My main source of reference was all categories of Ancestry.co.uk; others I have listed below each soldier. In some cases, where more than one soldier share very similar details,  it has been difficult to identify the specific man associated with Bewsey, in these cases I have included each set of potential details. Where I am uncertain I have put question mark.

The information may help in tracing your family during a time of great conflict. I hope the information is correct and if you are reading it and have any information which will help I would like to hear from you. I would like to thank the staff of Warrington Library and Museum for their patience and help with my research and the men at Arpley Street who look after it allowed me to see it.
