This workshop is being run by Alison Kurke from No.7 Studios. Alison is a collage artist, print maker, and bookbinder who says that “she has more paper of all kinds than she could hope to use in a lifetime, and is particularly interested in collaborative collage projects, as well as maintaining a daily practice”.
In this two hour taster session, we will look at examples of collage and try a few introductory exercises that will allow us to experiment with this art form, learning various techniques and approaches whilst also allowing the creative juices to flow!
Regional (and national) collage and paper practitioners are most welcome to attend, share and take an active part in this session.
Attendees are asked to bring along their own images in the form of colourful magazine or two, or books, and other equipment they are accustomed to using, but scissors and glue sticks will be available.
