Join us at Warrington Museum & Art Gallery for the launch of two new exhibitions:

The Worst Record Covers in the World

The Worst Record Covers in the World is a collection of over 650 unintentionally funny record sleeves curated by Steve Goldman. The covers reflect designs that have gone horribly wrong, but without being offensive or inappropriate. Visitors can listen to the records and vote for their favorite worst cover. There’s even a book of the exhibition. Prepare to laugh out loud at this unique display!

Ian Irvine: Visual Cocktails

Ian Irvine, born in Liverpool in 1958, is an experienced artist known for his screen prints and collages. His screen prints are essentially collages, made by printing ink through a mesh screen onto paper or canvas, using found images, colors, and marks. Influenced by 1960s and 70s Pop artists like Robert Rauschenberg, his work often references past eras and art. Ian’s hand-cut collages, influenced by Surrealists like René Magritte, are surreal and humorous. This exhibition is dedicated to his late brother David.

Admission is free, but booking is required.
