Picture Consequences Workshop with artist Matthew Wood
Unleash your inner surrealist and get drawing at Warrington Museum & Art Gallery!
Inspired by our ‘Let’s Draw!’ exhibition, join exhibiting artist Matthew Wood for a unique and playful art workshop based on the surrealist drawing game, Picture Consequences (also known as Exquisite Corpse).
Imagine drawing a part of a person — like a head — then covering it up and passing the board to the next person, who draws the torso without seeing the head, and so on.
In this exciting workshop, you’ll move through the museum, drawing one section at four different stops. After swapping your drawing board each time, your group will reveal a spectacular and surprising finished piece! It’s a fun way to collaborate, explore the museum, and create something completely unexpected.
