Did you know that Warrington has played an important role in all of Europe’s major space exhibitions for the past four and a half decades? Find out more in this immersive exhibition which will send your mind into orbit. The exhibition features real space hardware including the Solar Array Deployment Arm which has flown on the Hubble Space Telescope and has travelled 2,000,000,000 kilometres around the Earth.
Also on display, we have a rare item of space hardware that visitors can actually touch! Part of one of the four bi-stem booms that were used on Hubble’s first set of solar arrays, this item has orbited the earth for eight years. It’s incredibly rare to be able to touch something that has been to space and back, so don’t miss this exhibition!
